8. Put The 24/7 Championship Out To Pasture
What started as a pale imitation of the Hardcore Championship has now become a painful component of Monday Night Raw. The current champion Reggie may well be a viral sensation, but the actual segments are damaging the product.
Not only that, but the division also damages the credibility of anyone who is involved with it. Seeing Jeff Hardy chase the 24/7 Championship is utterly heart-breaking. Every single person could be doing so much more on TV rather than being involved in wacky sketches. How fun would an Akira Tozowa/Damian Priest match be? With the 24/7 Belt still active, this is something we won't get.
The Draft is the perfect time to hang up this championship. Sure, include silly comedy one last time, but finally retire the belt during the first Draft show. This is a new season of WWE, so getting rid of the belt on that show makes sense. Then, WWE can finally work on rebuilding the wrestlers who were damaged because of that division.
