10 Problems WWE MUST Solve In The 2021 Draft
5. Bolster The Tag Divisions
It's still quite shocking that WWE have actually tried with the Tag Team divisions in 2021. Granted, Randy Orton has probably had some influence on that, but still, it's quite an achievement!
WWE needs to bolster the tag ranks as they're running out of teams very quickly. While Raw does have a few teams, very few of them are presented as a threat. Mace and T-Bar, Ali and Mansoor and The Viking Raiders don't seem like a threat to the current champions at all.
WWE either needs to have some teams switch brands or move some NXT teams straight to the main roster. Teams like MSK, Grizzled Young Veterans and Gallus could all seemingly make the transition to the main roster now. They are talented enough to get themselves over and could add unique elements to the Tag Team divisions on either main roster brand.
MSK could bring their high-flying offence, GYV could deliver killer promos, and Gallus could add a much-needed faction to Monday Night RAW. As AEW has shown, tag wrestling can be a draw; WWE just needs to see it that way.
