This is a big one. By any metric youd like to use to measure, Stings first appearance in a WWE arena should elicit a massive pop. Hes the only guy on my list that has never been in the WWE, despite being a household name for most wrestling fans. That combination is hard to come by and will definitely help make his pop as historic as his appearance in the WWE will be. Now we all know that this is eventually going to happen, its just a matter of when at this point, so for all intents and purposes the surprise factor is still tentatively in place. That being said, the closer we get to WrestleMania season, the more the chances of his appearance being a surprise wanes. Now what is lost in the element of surprise can be made up for by the historic moment of seeing the iconic Sting entrance, complete with the blacked out arena and trusty baseball bat. That music and that visual are part of the wrestling lexicon, and havent yet been seen in the WWE, so when they happen, it should be expected for some fans to lose their minds. The circumstance is all that really stands in the way of making this pop everything it should be. If they waste it or do it at an inopportune time, well all be left disappointed. The chances of that are slim however, because no matter when they do it, it will be the first time wrestling legend Sting graces a WWE ring. No matter who hes out there against, no matter when it happens, the people will pop for history being made, if nothing else.
