10 Pushes That WWE Ruined In 2022
2. Kevin Owens
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA!
You might be wondering why Kevin Owens is here. The guy literally wrestled Steve Austin's first match since 2003 in the main event of WrestleMania 38's opening night, and he should be very proud of what he achieved there. No doubt, but everything afterwards has been a bit meh.
WWE's grand plan for KO post-'Mania was to program him with Ezekiel and bore everyone to tears with the same old detective work every single week on Raw. It was as bargain bin a feud as the writers could've come up with following 'Stone Cold', and it didn't make a lick of sense.
Like Theory, there have been shoots of recovery towards the end of 2022, but it hasn't really been enough to offset that interminable Zeke stuff. Owens was on top of the world after working Steve Austin (even after losing!), and should've gone on to bigger and better things.
