10 Questions With ROH’s Brutal Bob Evans

9. Finally Wrestling On National TV After 20 Years

Fast forward three years, Ring of Honor now airs on a national television platform with Destination America while maintaining its syndication with Sinclair Broadcasting. How does it feel now that you€™ve finally wrestled in a feature match where the focus and the shine is on you instead of augmenting someone else€™s role? BBE: It€™s pretty cool. It€™s great. I know a lot of people in my area who saw it. It€™s been very exciting to see not only myself, but to see Michael Bennett and Matt Taven on, who are two guys I trained. I pretty much trained Mikey from scratch and had a lot of input in the early stages of Matt€™s career, and now they are the IWGP Tag Team Champions. It was definitely a nice little moment to share. It was a really fun experience because we got (Evans vs. Cheeseburger) the second biggest reaction of the night up in Toronto. I mean, you€™re not going to get a bigger reaction than AJ Styles and The Young Bucks.
