10 Questions WWE Doesn't Want You To Ask After Survivor Series 2015

2. Hang On, Isn't This How You Ended SummerSlam '13?

The ending of Survivor Series may not have been a carbon copy of SummerSlam 2013, but it wasn't far off. To refresh your memory, SummerSlam 2013 saw Daniel Bryan beat John Cena for the WWE Championship, only for Randy Orton to immediately cash in after The Game delivered a Pedigree. Roman Reigns may have had the sense to Spear Triple H before that could happen, but the general structure is still near-identical. Hell, they even both got confetti, and I can't help but wonder if this very similar approach to Roman losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship has been done in the hopes of him gaining the same sort of momentum and support that Bryan did. Based on the reaction from the crowd before and after the match, I'm going to take a wild guess and say that definitely isn't going to end up happening! The match between Reigns and Dean Ambrose was solid, but unspectacular, and this was probably the most exciting ending we could have hoped for when it became apparent that neither of the former Shield members were going to turn heel. Still, this was arguably an overly familiar and predictable way to end the show.
