10 Quick WWE Fixes To Save Braun Strowman

8. Braun's Gonna Kill You

Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman have both found themselves victims of Brock Lesnar's recent extended invincibility bonus, with the 'Samoan Submission Machine' coming up short in a hard-hitting Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view main event in July ahead of a second loss alongside Braun and Roman Reigns in an epic SummerSlam fatal four-way.

Unlike Strowman though, Joe was at least able to emerge from his Universal Title war with a modicum of respect still in tact. The experienced heavyweight looked an absolute killer in his punctuated brawl with the 'Beast'. Caught out perhaps by his youthful naivety, Braun was gobbled up by Raw's top predator.

Although their contrasting circumstances should theoretically reward Joe with red brand riches, he may be the perfect rehabilitative opponent for the 'Monster Among Men'. Likely able to contest longer matches with Strowman without gassing the young giant as Brock Lesnar so willingly did at No Mercy, Joe's skill and precision would likely afford Braun his best ever main roster match.

Well protected since his Full Sail promotion earlier this year, the former NXT Champion's stature is such that a win scored at his expense means more than most token triumphs.
