As the first Money in the Bank briefcase holder, he was the first wrestler to take advantage of the stipulation that you can cash in at any time, waiting 280 days before beating a worn-out John Cena at New Years Revolution in 2006. But in 2007, Edge solidified his nickname when he goaded Mr. Kennedy, who had won the briefcase at WrestleMania XXIII five weeks earlier, into putting the briefcase on the line. The match lasted all of seven seconds, with Edge assaulting Kennedy on the latters way down the ramp before the bell had rung.
