You've likely already stumbled upon the interesting nugget of behind-the-scenes brilliance that was Chris Jericho's channelling of Anton Chigurh, of No Country for Old Men fame, when bringing his stellar 2008-09 heelish WWE character into our lives. But what you may not be aware of is the fact that this Oscar-winning turn from Javier Bardem also heavily inspired another star's recent title-winning character work.

As revealed during the now-Impact World Champion's interview with The WrestleSlam Podcast in July, influential wrestling personality and former Impact Executive Vice President Don Callis advised the hulking star to dust off Bardem's intense performance in the flick as a way of helping him evolve his current presentation. Moose would add when talking about the character of Chigurh:

"He never showed anything. He just talked in kind of a monotone set and we talked about me trying that and I watched the movie and I loved it and I was like, ‘Man, I see exactly what Don means.’"

Sure enough, Moose's newfound approach to his gimmick ultimately paved the way for a stint holding Impact's top title. And who knows, it may not be long before the shredded champ starts flipping coins to decide his poor opponent's fates, too...
