10 Reasons Why Bad News Barrett Is Actually Good News For WWE

2. He Hasn€™t Won Money In The Bank (Yet)

Take note that the key word in the title is €œyet.€ This is a good thing for WWE because they have an open opportunity for Wade Barrett to continue down the road of success. A Money in the Bank win is just what he needs to push himself further up the ladder towards a potential WWE World Heavyweight Championship run in the near future. A lofty goal? Perhaps right now it is, but a lot can change in WWE, and with the current champion Daniel Bryan out due to neck surgery, he could potentially be stripped of the World Title. That leaves WWE with potentially a vacant championship as well as a line of contenders looking to earn the gold. Barrett has been in two Money in the Bank ladder matches and lost both times. The third time could be the charm, the moment that brings him back into the main event picture with the likes of John Cena and Daniel Bryan. With Money in the Bank coming up in a little over a month, fans will have to wait and see which direction WWE decides to take Barrett in regards to either keeping him as a top tier IC Champion, or possibly making him a new World Champion.
