10 Reasons Why Bad News Barrett Is Actually Good News For WWE

8. He Has Leadership Skills

Remember The Nexus? They were a pretty big deal back in 2010 and 2011. During a time where guys like John Cena and CM Punk were headlining, The Nexus were just a bunch of rookies who made fools of themselves performing physical challenges on NXT. Then they got sick and tired of always being the butt of everyone else€™s jokes and attacked both Cena and Punk, dismantling the ring and the on air personnel in the process. It was a shocking moment that gave The Nexus the edge they needed to propel themselves to main event status. Wade Barrett became the official leader of the group, and he spoke for them whenever they entered the ring together. It was at this point that Barrett and Cena had a long running feud that culminated with The Nexus eventually coming to an end. Shortly after, Barrett would arrive on Smackdown with another new team called The Corre. Even when defeated, Barrett finds a way to regroup and build up a new foundation from the remnants of the old. Right now Barrett is a solo act, but there may come a time when Barrett will find himself once again playing the role of leader for an entirely new wrestling group.
