4. The Lack Of Roster Depth

One reason Sting is coming to the WWE is because they really do need him. The roster depth is exceedingly poor right now. The top three stars in the company at the start of the year were John Cena, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. While Cena remains, both Punk and Bryan have been rendered ineffective. Punk quit in January and Bryan suffered an injury in May that will keep him out the rest of the year. While the WWE has a decent youth movement in Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns, you can't help but feel the show lacks a certain star element in their day to day business. The roster is set to get even thinner when Chris Jericho departs in September, with Brock Lesnar also expected to leave shortly thereafter. What should WWE's response be? Bring in another part time superstar of course! They have Sting waiting in the wings, the potential perfect antidote for when things go quiet again in October.
