10 Reasons To Believe WWE Really Do See Daniel Bryan As A Major Star
9. Occupy RAW Was Designed To Be Epic (And Was!)
A lot of people say that this was one of the best segments on RAW for years, and it most certainly was. Those in the UK that stayed up to watch RAW live that night would probably have been contemplating whether or not to turn it off and go to sleep, as it was not a good episode. However, just as you would have been leaning towards sleep, out comes Daniel Bryan and transforms the whole feel of the show. For those who missed it, a brief run down of this segment is that Daniel Bryan filled the ring and ringside with 'fans'. He said that they wouldn't be leaving the ring until they got what they wanted, which was for Triple H to accept Daniel Bryan's challenge for a match at Wrestlemania. It was a strange situation, as in reality, fans wanted to see Daniel Bryan in the main event of Wrestlemania, rather than being in a match with Triple H, but we all went along with it anyway! Triple H came out and tried to laugh them off, saying that they'd had their moment and to get out of the ring. Of course, they didn't, chanting 'no' at him for long enough for it to become a little awkward, with him mocking a fat guy near the front. After a while, Triple H decided to just ignore the situation and try to go on with the show, which lead to a funny bit with Damian Sandow coming out and obviously not being able to get into the ring. Triple H then called security out, again to no avail. Triple H started to get mad and finally accepted Daniel Bryan's challenge for the match at Wrestlemania. He was about to walk backstage when Daniel Bryan dropped the bombshell that everybody wanted to hear. Actually, this match wasn't good enough, and he wanted to be inserted into the main event of Wrestlemania if he could beat Triple H! Triple H became absolutely livid, and he accepted the deal whilst being dragged away by security, ending the segment with Daniel Bryan and the whole arena chanting an emphatic 'YES!' This was the signal that WWE had seemingly changed their mind. They heard the fans and agreed that Daniel Bryan IS a star. Wrestlemania is going to be the Daniel Bryan show! It was an epic moment, designed that way to really create a star. Mission accomplished.
