2. Adapting To Living In The United States
WWE.comRelocating is a huge stress to anyone. When youre moving halfway across the world, to another continent, where people dont speak your language and even the writing is in a different script to what youre used to, its an enormous stress. Some British wrestlers who have relocated to the USA have found the culture shock to be huge, and they speak the same language. Sin Cara is again a good example of someone not adapting to the culture either within or outside the WWE. He is reported to have carried himself like a star, as he was in his native Mexico, when he wasnt regarded as such in the WWE. KENTA was one of Japans top stars but hell be starting at the bottom of the ladder. Thats not to say that hes totally unfamiliar with western culture (although his WWE gimmick could very well portray the opposite). The good thing is that there will be wrestlers in the locker room who can speak very good Japanese which will help him to settle. Also, he wants to make this move and so he will be determined to make it succeed, but make no mistake, the cultural transition, both in and out of the ring, is going to be enormous.
