10 Reasons CM Punk Should Stay Retired And Never Return To WWE

9. He Already Has Financial Security

There are basically two kinds of professional wrestlers: the guys who are in it strictly for the love of the business and would work just as hard for $30 a night in front of 250 fans, and the ones who got into the business for the chance at a lucrative contract and to greatly improve their station in life. If you had asked a couple of years ago which camp Punk fell into, the consensus would have been that he did it solely for the love, as his years toiling away on the independent circuit would attest to. Now, however, it€™s not so cut and dry. It appears that Punk has become jaded by his time in WWE, and is no longer content to go through the motions for the big paycheck. He€™s a performer who went from being full of fire and creativity to seeming disinterested and uninspired during his last few months with the company. Due to the demanding nature of wrestling, both mentally and physically, when it€™s no longer the passion that drives you, the only reason to stick around is for the money. And when you€™re someone like Punk, who, by all account has managed his money well and lives a relatively Spartan lifestyle, the desire for more cash isn€™t enough of a reason to continue putting your body on the line.
