When it's all said and done, this is the most telling image because it sums everything up perfectly. CM Punk is wanted by the fans, they're keeping his merchandise and they're waiting for that day when his familiar music hits. Then it's clobberin' time as only The Best in the World can do it. Fans love Punk, they respect him and more importantly, they want him. However, they likely understand that he is gone at least for right now but the desire to see him has not changed. With that being said, the truth is that they would have him back in a heartbeat. The crowd knows what they like and who they want. Oftentimes, Punk fits both criteria perfectly. Punk's last three years in WWE was arguably his best run ever. He was WWE champion for 434 days, he worked main event matches all over the world and he was the company's top heel for much of that time. To imagine that he wold leave all of that even though there are legions of fans that want him to come back seems ridiculous just on the face of it. Punk is wanted by the fans and there is no better connection from him to WWE. The crowd could be the ones that ultimately decide when or if he will be coming back. Writers are still writing about him, live crowds are still wearing his T-Shirts and fans are still chanting his name. CM Punk is still a star and he is still definitely wanted in WWE.
