2. WWE Looking To Recreate Daniel Bryan
The timing of Daniel Bryan's exit from the business and Dean Ambrose's rise can't just be a coincidence. WWE know they need a new number two babyface, and they know that Ambrose has many of the same qualities as Bryan. Shared characteristics like underdog persona and physical similarities are what makes Ambrose the perfect new Daniel Bryan. In putting Ambrose over Lesnar, they are replacing the retired number two babyface. It is very much the same star making process as when Bryan was put over by Cena at SummerSlam 2013. Going forward, it makes Ambrose a more valuable star. As a draw, as a merchandise seller, he's that much bigger for beating Brock Lesnar. WWE saw what Daniel Bryan was worth in that victorious underdog spot, and they'll be keen to see where Ambrose can take it.
