Dean Ambrose has only just done a major job, getting pinned by Roman Reigns in Fastlane's main event. It is the story of his career right now, with major loss after major loss. Sure, there's been the odd victory thrown in, but these have only ever felt like token gestures from WWE. He's still awaiting his first major career moment win, and it looks like that's the reason why WWE booked him against Lesnar at WrestleMania... they're finally going to pull the trigger on him, giving him his first big win, and seeing where it takes him in the rest of 2016. For him to lose again, it would be a missed opportunity. He's good enough and popular enough to survive a loss, but it really would be a slap in the face from WWE and his "glorified jobber" status would be confirmed.
