10 Reasons Kevin Nash Deserves To Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

6. Considered By Many Experts To Be An €œAll-Time Great€ Big Man

Sure, Ricky Morton and Doink the Clown hated him once upon a time, but who did they ever beat? For the most part, Kevin Nash is respected by his peers. As if having the admiration of one of the most influential men in sports entertainment in Triple H isn€™t enough, he has spent countless hours throughout his career learning from and working with one of the all-time greats in Shawn Michaels. On top of that, he considers Hulk Hogan a mentor. Not bad. Not bad at all. Nash put his charisma and gift for gab on display during his run as €œBig Daddy Cool€ Diesel and one of the founding fathers of the New World Order. It€™s what sets him apart from other big men of the time. On a 2008 episode of WWE€™s Legends of Wrestling, Mean Gene brought up Nash€™s name and Jim Ross immediately compared him to Hall of Famer €œBig Cat€ Ernie Ladd. That€™s a massive compliment. Michael Hayes continued the conversation, stating that Nash €œredefined what a giant was€ and that he €œmade being a giant hip and cool.€ The Hall of Fame panel of Pat Patterson, Sgt. Slaughter, Jim Ross, and Mean Gene all agreed. Being able to redefine a role in a business is an intangible that separate a run of the mill wrestler from a Hall of Famer.
