10 Reasons We All Love WWE's Hell In A Cell Gimmick

7. The Kennel From Hell Happened

This may not be a popular opinion, but absolute disasters are just as important a part of wrestling lore as the biggest moments. We all look back on the Shockmaster incident fondly. After all, if you can€™t laugh at yourself, what can you laugh at? The Hell in a Cell produced one of the biggest stinkers of all time: The Kennel From Hell match. At Unforgiven 1999, The Big Bossman took on Al Snow in a match where there was a steel cage in the ring, the Hell in a Cell out of the ring, and in between the two were supposed to be a pack of wild dogs. It was supposed to be dangerous, but the dogs were too busy humping each other and going to the bathroom on the ring mats to care about the Bossman or Al Snow. It€™s a huge blemish on the legacy of Hell in a Cell, but sometimes you have to look back and laugh.
