8. Grado vs Al Snow In Glasgow

Grado won over the hearts of everyone he came into contact with on British Bootcamp 2, with one exception: Al Snow. The veteran trainer and Bootcamp judge was incensed when Grado lost track of time and turned up late to a training session that Snow was holding in Glasgow. Snow promptly booted a broken-hearted Grado out, telling him that he had disrespected not just Snow, but everyone else in the gym. Not to be defeated, Grado then turned up at the Manchester auditions, where Snow refused to grant him access, and then made the 10 hour drive to London, where Gail Kim finally persuaded Snow to give him a second chance. Grado made it through to the final six that made it across to America, but Snow was still far from welcoming towards the usually happy Scot. When Grado was eliminated from the final six, he told Snow that he€™d been €œa dick€ to him from the start and challenged him to a match in his home country of Scotland when TNA hits the Hydro in Glasgow on January 29th. Dixie Carter confirmed that this match has been signed. What Snow doesn€™t seem to realise is that Grado is a celebrity in Scotland, both in and out of wrestling. He€™s recently appeared in a Scottish police TV comedy show and he€™s going to have a partisan crowd at a packed out Hydro Arena singing along with him on his entrance. Despite his decades of experience, I doubt that Al Snow will ever have witnessed anything quite like it.
