9. Renewed Hope For The Divas division

The Divas division has been the source of much disappointment and frustration among WWE fans. It has seemingly been going on forever, as the crowd is just not able to fully support the women despite what the company does. Part of the blame is with the Divas themselves but part of the blame of course is with WWE. The biggest issue for many of the WWE faithful has been two-fold. On one side of the coin is the fact that the typical Diva is basically just a model in a pair of wrestling boots. While the Divas are expected to look great and be sexy, the truth is that many fans want more from the company; they want women that can actually put on a good match. The other side of that coin is that the usual rivalry in the Divas division lasts all of 10 minutes and is based on practically nothing. Natalya had a mini feud with Nikki Bella over a painting while Alicia Fox went crazy for a few weeks in an angle that basically went nowhere. In the middle of all this is Eva Marie, who is more preoccupied with photo shoots than she is actually doing anything inside WWE. The two rays of light are AJ Lee and Paige. Neither woman looks like the stereotypical Diva and neither woman cares for anything other than entertaining in the ring. Right now they are in the midst of the only real feud in the division. Yes, Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon are headed for a showdown at SummerSlam. However, Stephanie is not a Diva and when this is over, Brie will be right back to working on Total Divas. AJ Lee and Paige can make fans believe in the women again. All they need is a chance.
