10 Reasons Nobody Should Believe A Word Hulk Hogan Says
7. He Wrestled At SummerSlam 1992
29 August 1992: SummerSlam, Wembley Stadium, London - the biggest WWF crowd since Hogan and Andre rocked WrestleMania III.
A jam packed crowd of over 80,000 rabid wrestling fans could only have been drawn by the Immortal Hulk Hogan, right?
That's what the Hulkster claimed in his official WWE biography.
Painfully recounting how he met a gravely ill fan, who he ensured sat in the front row of the colossal stadium, so he could see him headline that night in London, Hogan was clearly moved by the occasion.
The only slight inconsistency with Hulk's recollection was that he didn't headline SummerSlam 1992 at Wembley Stadium. Actually, Hulk Hogan wasn't wrestling at all at SummerSlam - nor was he ever advertised.
In fact, Hulk Hogan wasn't even working with the WWE at all in the summer of 1992, and was on an extended, forcible leave of absence due to his involvement in the steroid scandal.
To this day, Hulk Hogan has still never wrestled at Wembley Stadium.
