10 Reasons Not To Give Up On WWE In 2021

7. Morbid Curiosity

If you’re not impressed by the wrestling talent, the storylines, the spectacle, or the presentation, if nothing else, having sat through WWE’s 2020, you’re surely going to tune back in this year out of sheer morbid curiosity.

To recap: in 2020 we saw Baron Corbin chuck two of his enemies off the roof of corporate HQ. Seth Rollins plucked out an opponent’s eye in a sanctioned match. There was a fight in a swamp for some reason. The Fiend got burned to death, hypnotised Alexa Bliss, and had a match with John Cena that took part in the latter’s psyche, or something.

2020 was nothing if not eventful, and while some of its stranger moments may have been the final nails in the coffin for old school fans, others will surely be staying glued to find out what depths the company plumbs and/or innovative paths they take this time around.

It’s hard to imagine the nonsense levels reaching the heights of last year, but we’re here for whatever dumb gimmick Vince et al come out with next.
