10 Reasons NOT To Give Up On WWE Raw

5. Asuka As Champ

Asuka doesn't do bad matches.

Some wrestlers have this incredible ability to pull the best from poor situations, and she's one of them. Think back to the way Asuka handled duff title opponents like Nia Jax last summer, or how she helped carry a soon-to-depart Zelina Vega to a solid bout at Clash Of Champions months later.

It sounds weird for someone who has been in the title mix for so long, but the best of Asuka's Raw Women's Title reign is yet to come. She's surely about to have some belters with Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler and others over the next few months. Or, WWE might send her to NXT for a champ vs. champ showdown with Io Shirai.

OK, enough teasing.

There's just something so endearing about Asuka's performances these days. She's settled nicely into the veteran role, and WWE can depend on her to make the most of anything they throw her way. It's very watchable.
