10 Reasons Not To Lose Faith In NXT

5. The Cameron Grimes Invitational Stepping Stones To The Moon Match

Cameron Grimes is tremendous. There is something of The Mountie to the man, although the comparison might seem a little jarring, to begin with. Professional wrestling is all about having fun, and nobody on NXT TV looks like they are having more fun than Cameron Grimes.

It remains to be seen whether or not the tremendously-named Cameron Grimes Invitational Stepping Stones To The Moon Match becomes a regular segment on NXT TV, but Ridge Holland's interruption of the invitational a couple of weeks back suggests it may not. That would be a shame, as the more Cameron Grimes talking on TV there is, the better the show is.

Grimes is one of those rare, perfect comedy characters, a gimmick played for laughs that retains a credibility and danger once the bell rings. He has managed to get the Cave-In over as a real out of nowhere finish, and the list of men he has beaten more than speaks for itself. Cameron Grimes isn't going to be winning the NXT Championship anytime soon, but he has established himself as a fantastically entertaining part of the undercard.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
