10 Reasons Randy Orton Must Return To WWE As The Legend Killer
3. There Are Plenty Of Options
If WWE did not want Orton as a heel, they could even bring back the Legend Killer gimmick as a babyface if they wanted to. It is fair to say that in the eyes of most fans The Viper hasn't quite reached legendary status in WWE, despite having 12 World Title reigns to his name - a reality the company could turn into storyline relatively simply with a few promos. If Stephanie McMahon and The Authority were delivering the jibes, this could see the Legend Killer be a babyface gimmick, with Randy on the hunt for justice, looking to take out Triple H, Vince McMahon and their associates once and for all. Since WWE are hellbent on keeping the authoritative figure vs. babyface schtick alive in 2016, Orton is strong choice to fill the good guy role. But we all know that a bad guy is best for business here... A heel Orton could get off to a thunderous start upon his return. He could go on a warpath to take out those popular "legends" who he thinks, and knows he is better than. Or those regular stars who are well and truly over with the WWE Universe such as Cesaro and Sami Zayn, who fans get behind no matter the circumstances. We all know that Randy has a bit of a short fuse, this could be something to ignite him once again whether it be for good or for bad... The Legend Killer is such a versatile gimmick.
