wwe main event The seeming tossed-in inclusion in the first week of the WWE Network's existence was that the company's "C" program WWE Main Event was going to be regularly broadcast live. WWE having three live-to-air programs and two of them (NXT and Main Event) being on the Network is huge. If a fan of pure wrestling (and not into watching Ring of Honor), Main Event is as close to an old school 80s territorial TV program as you're going to get out of WWE in 2014. Yes, there are those who make that claim about NXT, but the level of athleticism on those shows obviously blows away anything (in many cases) that WWE has ever presented as its own in-ring product. However, if you don't mind your storytelling simple and your matches a bit longer, Main Event is a perfect show to watch.
