9. Constantly Smiling And Cracking Jokes
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkYEmSDMDqw If youre going to be the face who uses heel tactics, then you cant also be the guy who has a big grin on his face constantly and jokes around when hes on the mic. You never really saw Stone Cold being goofy and cracking jokes at his enemies. He threatened to open a can of whoopass and that was that. With Sheamus, we get a guy who in one breath is carrying on and having a good time, and in the next moment, hes kicking some poor guys teeth out. It also doesnt help sell a feud if Sheamus is cracking jokes about the guy rather than reacting naturally. Its a jarring experience that leaves fans confused as to why they should be cheering the guy. Sheamus clearly wants to be seen as the good guy, while Austin was the perfect anti-hero, loved because he was raging against the ultimate heel the evil boss Mr. McMahon. If Sheamus wants to be the anti-hero, he needs to drop the stand-up routine and stop flashing his pearly whites.
