10 Reasons Sting Vs The Undertaker Is No Longer A WWE Dream Match

5. The Future Is Here

The popular buzz about WWE right now is centred around the future, specifically NXT. That's the mood of the fanbase. It isn't about old legends slugging it out, it is all about fresh faces putting on innovative and high energy matches. WWE are in danger of ending up like WCW, continuing to promote old talent in the top spots when their prime is well over. The dream match is no longer for nostalgia, the dream match at Mania is seeing someone new break out. That's exactly what happened with Seth Rollins this year, he entered the main event and achieved the loudest reaction of the night. When WWE looks to answer fans desires for Mania 32, they'd be much better advised to think of the next generation of talent rather than two generations earlier. Heck, some fans would legitimately prefer to see Charlotte Vs Sasha Banks on Mania 32 over Taker Vs Sting. That's how over NXT is right now.
