10 Reasons The Undertaker Must Lose Again At WrestleMania

9. To Make A New Star

WWE is a machine that never stops turning. An analogy Stone Cold Steve Austin used during his feud with The Rock ahead of WrestleMania XIX sums the business up to perfection. The Texas Rattlesnake described himself as a cog in the machine that was used up. What Vince McMahon simply does is remove that cog and replaces it with a new shiny one. In this case, this would see The Undertaker's respective cog removed and replaced in 'The new Phenom' or new 'Face of Fear' role by Bray Wyatt. It's a pretty brutal analogy to use but one that fits the bill perfectly. Look at what last year's win did for Brock Lesnar. Yes The Beast was already over but it allowed him to take his character into a new stratosphere of a** kicking that he had never reached before in the squared circle. Yet you never hear people moaning that the machine is behind him like you do with Messrs Cena and Reigns. The streak ending win added legitimacy to Brock. The fact Bray has been handpicked as the guy to dance with the Deadman in his comeback match after last year€™s Mania defeat speaks volumes for the standing he has in the eyes of Vince et al. This is a spot that has been reserved for the best of the best for well over 15 years now, and Bray is clearly now classed in that echelon by the powers that be in the WWE. Even if Wyatt loses, his stock will still be a lot higher than it was at the turn of the year. If he takes an unadulterated legend of the professional wrestling business to the edge and gets a few near falls, proving he is up there with the best of the new school, that will be more than enough for his development. A win, however, would shoot him off into instant stardom.
