10 Reasons This Year's WWE Tough Enough Sucks

9. The Challenges Mean Nothing

Each week, the Tough Enough contestants have to compete in challenges that revolve around a certain theme that comes with being a WWE superstar. One week it was €œfocus,€ the other week it was €œhumility,€ and yet another week it was €œcharisma.€ The challenges themselves don€™t really have much in common with the theme, and it€™s a loose interpretation. But the challenges mean nothing. Winning doesn€™t save you from elimination, and losing doesn€™t mean you€™re automatically eliminated. They€™re pretty much a waste of time. Tough Enough should take a page from another reality competition that€™s actually successful: MTV€™s The Challenge. The challenges each week matter, as the winner is immune from elimination for the week, and the loser is automatically put into a one-on-one elimination match at the end of the show, with the remaining contestants voting over who gets the face the loser. It creates drama, and whoever stays on actually earns it, rather than being left in the incapable hands of the viewing public.
