10 Reasons To Be Nervous For WWE In 2016

2. The Undertaker Retiring

All signs seem to be pointing to the idea that 2016 will be The Undertaker's last as an active competitor in WWE. By the time WrestleMania 32 rolls around, the character will have been around for over 25 years in the promotion. That's a quarter of a century, meaning 'Taker has taken more bumps and traversed more miles than pretty much anybody. When he does retire, Undertaker will leave a hole that will never be filled. There's a real comfort to be gleaned from the fact that he's always around. Of course, in literal terms, 'Taker does regularly take time of, so he's not ever-present. However, more fans look forward to his appearances than perhaps any other name on the roster. The anticipation of him showing up is forever there. If The Undertaker does decide to hang up his boots in 2016, there will be great sadness around the wrestling world. It also creates a nervous situation for WWE. WrestleMania, as well as big events such as SummerSlam, have been built around the man in recent years. If he's gone, there's nobody these to fill that slot. At least not somebody with the draw and allure of Undertaker.
