10 Reasons To Stick With NJPW After Wrestle Kingdom 12

5. Sheer Variety

NJPW's main event style defines their product, and understandably so. The company's epic, slow-burning IWGP Heavyweight Title fights are becoming legend, with their gradual escalation of drama, heart-stopping near-falls, and awesome displays of fighting spirit creating countless state of the art masterpieces.

Guys like Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, and Tetsuya Naito deserve every bit of praise thrown at them, but their bouts aren't New Japan's only highlight. Not by a longshot.

This is a promotion of incredible variety. The Junior Heavyweight Title scene features some of the most spectacular athletes in the world, with the likes of Hiromu Takahashi, KUSHIDA, and champion Will Ospreay dazzling crowds with pure adrenaline. The impossibly violent Hirooki Goto's coronation as NEVER Openweight Champion ensures the division will soon became a haven for the world's hardest hitting wrestlers. Bullet Club bring traditional sports entertainment tropes the the table, hence their massive western appeal, and Los Ingobernables De Japon might be the coolest stable in wrestling today.

The list goes on, and while Gedo certainly has his blindspots as a booker (NJPW's tag divisions often leave much to be desired), his shows generally provide something for everyone.
