10 Reasons UFC's Dana White Should Replace Vince McMahon In WWE

2. Better WWE Social Media Engagement

Wwe Twitter WWE claims itself to be masterful at social media engagement. However, what WWE is actually great at is getting hashtags trending, which is only half of the Twitter game. Dana White is excellent at using social media, and as well has figured out how to make UFC a social media powerhouse insofar as knowing how to both open and control conversations. World Wrestling Entertainment is missing the boat on really pushing the envelope with apps like Snapchat, Meerkat and Periscope. WWE could create a TV brand that eventually is a viewable experience that requires tuning in on TV, and also having your cell phone app available in order to engage the broadcast via voting, plus commenting on the show itself via Facebook and Twitter. As well, for those interested in the pre and post-match preparations, imagine say, if Kidd and Cesaro had the app on backstage as they prepared for a tag match, and you saw Cesaro stretching or lifting, or Nattie engaging fans via the chat function. Also, there are those wrestlers like, say, Dolph Ziggler or The New Day who could easily be convinced to engage fans as they traveled from town to town, too. Insofar as social media, Dana White would make push for WWE to be working as the company that adopts, then adapts to social media apps and functions first and allows their massive global fanbase to ideally serve as early downloaders and testers themselves of many of the new and powerful social media apps available. Engaging with the internet in this manner allows them to stay viral and intriguing to both press and potential new fans or those who may want to renew their interest.
