10 Reasons The Undertaker Was Mr Smackdown

2. Sacrificing Himself For Smackdown

Ok, so Undertaker has hardly been the most 'giving' superstar over the years. He isn't like a Triple H, who was a main eventer that jobbed clean for several prospective stars. Still, The Undertaker did do his share of helping to make stars on Smackdown. He put a young Brock Lesnar over in a BIG way during autumn 2002. The loss Taker took at No Mercy 2002 helped to cement Brock's status, which in turn provided a star for the Smackdown brand in 2003. The Deadman also put over Kurt Angle and even helped to give JBL the rub as Champion. Then came the job he did for Great Khali and even the job he did for Vladmir Kozlov. While not all of those men made the best of their push, Undertaker certainly did his fair share to help make new stars for the Smackdown brand.
