10 Reasons Vince McMahon Needs To Retire By Year’s End

10. His Age And His Health

The first reason that Vince should retire comes down to simple age: he will turn 70 years old on August 24th of this year. While that isn€™t that old by modern standards, given that many people now live well into their 80s, a big issue with Vince is his lifestyle and overall physical and mental health. According to some reports, Vince reportedly starts his work day at 4am, and works all day until midnight. In other words, he works twenty hours a day on average, with little time spent on anything not immediately related to the WWE. No matter how healthy you claim you are, having such an intense and stress-related work day can be seriously costly to your health. It€™s one thing for someone less than half his age to be working that kind of schedule, but for Vince to be doing so at his age is almost insane. Either he has some genetic anomaly that allows him to sleep less than a normal person without negative consequences, or he simply works so damn hard every day without considering the ramifications. Though Vince doesn€™t legally need to retire, his old age is catching up with him, especially in terms of how he thinks. Some say that he expects all of his employees to work similar hours, and put the same ridiculous amount of man hours and devotion to the WWE as him. While Vince might not feel as stressed when something goes wrong, his employees sure do. Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, who is heavily rumored to be a former WWE employee, referenced the ridiculous work hours, and how WWE was a miserable place to work in. Both of these problems can be directly attributed to Vince himself, so if he were to retire, perhaps the next person in charge would put in some actually sane working hours.
