10 Reasons Why Big Show Needs To Retire From WWE

4. He Can't Even Put Anyone Over Properly Anymore

The general system in WWE is such that a wrestler keeps climbing the ladder until they reach the top, become a bona fide star, and eventually begin to use their established position to put young up-and-comers over to build the company€™s future. You would think that a wrestler as big and accomplished as the Big Show would be able to put over smaller wrestlers quite easily. Sadly, you€™d be wrong. Big Show has lost so much over the past number of years, has been booked as such a disappointing and embarrassing wrestler that defeating him isn€™t a big deal anymore. As with Kane, instead of being presented as a literal juggernaut that cannot be defeated (easily), Big Show loses so much, and often with such ease, that pretty much anyone can defeat him without much trouble. Look at his recent rivalry with Roman Reigns. Big Show only ever won via disqualification or unclean finish, and Reigns was in control for the majority of those matches, instead of Show himself. Moreover, in 2015, Big Show has started following Kane towards jobber status, as he holds a record of 9 wins and 55 losses for this year alone. Fans pay attention to wins and losses, even if WWE management doesn€™t. A wrestler who loses so often cannot be expected to make those loses seem big enough to make bigger stars out of those who defeat him.
