IShowSpeed Set To WRESTLE At WrestleMania 42?! (WWE News)

WWE has some celebrity tag-team plans pencilled in for WrestleMania 42.

The Wrestling Observer recently reported that Gunther vs. Seth Rollins has been in the works for a few weeks. During the same write-up, Dave Meltzer noted that there's a solid chance YouTuber/streamer IShowSpeed will actually wrestle on the big stage at WrestleMania 42 himself.

You're reading that correctly.

At time of writing, a bout pitting Speed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory vs. LA Knight and The Usos has been pencilled in for either night in Las Vegas later this month. WWE are hedging their bets with this one though - if IShowSpeed isn't ready to actually produce a full match, then there's a backup plan.

Should he opt out or management believe the streamer isn't ready, then Paul and Theory vs. Jimmy and Jey with Speed and Knight in respective corners could turn out to be what happens on 18-19 April instead. However, The Observer noted that the 6-man tag is on the internal match listing as things stand.

Speed played a part in Paul and Theory winning the World Tag-Team Titles on Monday's episode of Raw. LA was involved too, but WWE's cameras caught IShowSpeed looking pretty horrified as The Vision picked up the win following a brass knuckles spot.

Now, it looks like Speed could become an unlikely, honorary member of The Vision alongside fellow YouTube brethren LP. Honestly, this is the kind of thing nobody could've predicted years ago, but it'd make sense given WWE's fascination with celebrities at 'Mania.

IShowSpeed also earned his stripes by taking a hellacious spear from Bron Breakker during the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
