10 Reasons Why Dolph Deserved His Demotion
4. And The Pecking Order Is Getting Longer
NXT, more so than ever before, is positively teeming with internationally-honed talent, many of whom, it can be argued, are better than Ziggler. That they are fresher is undeniable.
It isn't just the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and Andrade 'Cien' Almas that Ziggler should be worried about. If rumours are to be believed - and they are incredibly persistent, so it's hard not to - WWE is seemingly intent on signing every buzz-worthy pro wrestler on the face of the planet.
The names mentioned are hugely exciting. Cruiserweight Classic favourite Zack Sabre Jr. is a wrestling machine, whose style is an awesome fusion of old-school World of Sport British wrestling and 21st century athleticism. Prince Puma/Ricochet is easily among the top 5 aerialists in the world (unless your name is Leon White).
What Culture Pro Wrestling's own Big Damo has a terrifying look, and his mammoth size belies his impressive agility. And, unlike Ziggler, you need only look at him to see that his nickname - the Beast of Belfast - is entirely justified.
Ziggler already hasn't done enough to wrest air time away from the likes of AJ Styles and Sami Zayn - he'd need to do something radical to get promoted ahead of these mouthwatering prospects.
