10 Reasons Why JBL Is WWE's Most Controversial Figure

6. Stealing Justin Roberts' Passport

One of the most repugnant stories surrounding JBL's WWE tenure only came to light a couple of months ago, when former ring announcer Justin Roberts released a book chronicling his 12 years with the company.

In Best Seat In The House, Roberts alleged that he was continually bullied and harassed throughout his tenure, with JBL the chief agitator. Justin stated that Bradshaw told him to "go kill himself" every time they bumped into each other, and while this was depressing enough, it came to a head during a tour of the United Kingdom.

Roberts' passport was stolen from his bag, which meant he was unable to fly home with the rest of the WWE crew. Instead, he was forced to travel to London, have his passport reissued at the US embassy, then head back to America before rushing to attend a SmackDown taping the same evening.

Though Justin didn't directly name JBL as the perpetrator, John Morrison revealed that the former SD announcer had approached him to steal the passport on the same tour. Bradshaw denied the rumours, of course, but his track record doesn't exactly paint him in a positive light here.
