10 Reasons Why WWE 2014 Was The Year Of Seth Rollins

Though it's still only the beginning.

To say 2014 has been a historic year for WWE would be an understatement. From The Undertaker's undefeated streak being broken at WrestleMania 30 to CM Punk's abrupt departure from the company, 2014 will go in the history books for WWE. In the absence of Punk and the injured Daniel Bryan, WWE has been forced to push their younger stars toward the top of the card including Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Rusev. However, of all the up-and-coming Superstars that have been prominently featured this year, none have shined brighter than Seth Rollins. Yes, a case can be made for 2014 being the year of Brock Lesnar. Breaking the 20 year long undefeated streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania is arguably the biggest accomplishment any wrestler could ever achieve, but Lesnar has made only a handful of appearances this year, so it's hard to say this entire year has belonged to him. Rollins, on the other hand, has proved his worth time and time again since the start of the year and has solidified himself as a star on the main event scene. With his Money in the Bank contract still in effect, what can we expect from the former WWE Tag Team champion going into the new year?
