While we all love phenomenal wrestling matches full of outstanding feats, one thing that is equally as important to the success of any contest is the story that is told between those ropes. That's something that Roman Reigns and Jey Uso understood to perfection at Clash of Champions.

Their match wasn't a stunner in the action department but only because it was never designed to be. What they accomplished was much more gripping, much more poignant, than that.

Jey Uso's desperate attempts to stand up to his bully of a cousin made it so damn easy to root for the man who had spent his career as an underdog attempting to break free from the shadow of legends that his family built, but the emotion that invoked was matched by the exhilarating feeling of watching Roman Reigns thrive in the role he should have been cast in long ago.

A match that made it impossible to pick a side, this one was nothing short of a storytelling marvel - and it gave the already-solid Clash of Champions an ending that will live forever.
