10 Reasons Why WWE Must Turn John Cena Heel Immediately

2. Seth Rollins Can Become The Company's Top Babyface

For many years, WWE has been trying to find a new top babyface to succeed John Cena, but it hasn't panned out - Sheamus and CM Punk weren't able usurp him in terms of popularity, and anti-Roman Reigns backlash became so vociferous that the company was forced to pull back on his push. Every time, the company has had to fall back on Cena, reinstating him as the number one good guy in the company. He's always done well in the role, but it's clear that WWE higher-ups want somebody younger to carry the company. If Cena were to turn heel, WWE brass would be forced to choose a new top face and put all their eggs in that basket. There would be no falling back on Cena - the new top star in the company would demand a commitment from creative. The obvious problem with that is that as of late, hand-picked stars are especially hated by fans. For instance, even if Cena were a heel, the fans still wouldn't take to Roman Reigns - and pushing him hard would only make it worse. Luckily, the company has a different star who can become the top babyface - Seth Rollins. The WWE Champion has spent the past year and a half proving his talent, and that's helped turn him into the kind of heel people want to cheer. All he'd need to do is stand up to Cena and he'd be the most popular man in the company.
