10 Reasons WrestleMania 31 Is Doomed To Failure

5. Sting Isn't Over

Yeahhh...about Sting. It's just not working... The key to Sting's run in WWE is that he needed to be presented as something different than what he was in WCW - a company that if you're keeping score at home, hasn't been open for nearly 15 years. Everything about Sting in WWE feels musty and out of place, like he was unearthed from moth balls and paraded onto WWE television. To his credit, Sting's working A+ hard with D+ material which balances out to only an average situation. Is it a waste of an entertaining performer who could've been an asset to WWE? Of course. But what else is new?
