A common criticism of recent 'Manias, and 31 was no exception. The decision to pull two matches from the main card and put them on the WWE Network pre-show was an understandable decision (given the company's desire to advertise the Network) but an immensely frustrating one. Instead of the Andre Battle Royal and Tag Title match, why not put an NXT showcase on there alongside a clash between two recognisable figures - Goldust vs Christian for example. Both matches were pretty good and featured some popular figures such as Cesaro, Kidd and Mizdow. Although perhaps not the matches responsible for selling many tickets, they certainly deserved a spot on the main card - especially the tag title match, the downgrading of which will only worsen criticism of the WWE's one-dimensional tag division.
