10 Reasons WrestleMania 32 Could Be Dropped From WWE Network

8. The Money

One of the biggest reasons WWE could drop WrestleMania 32 from the Network is the money. Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer estimates WWE could make up to $39 million on pay per view alone. That would be factoring a 1.25 million buy rate and $79 price. But bear in mind that it would likely shatter the WWE PPV record set at WrestleMania 28, so the number of buys could actually be a hell of a lot more than 1.25 million. What WWE need to do is weigh it up on the financial damage it could do to the WWE Network. Subscriptions would inevitably be hurt, but the PPV returns would more than make up for it. The bigger damage question could be long term and how it makes fans perceive the Network.
