10 Reasons WrestleMania 32 Will Exceed 31

5. There Won't Be Any John Cena Predictability

As good as the match was, it felt wholly predictable that John Cena would vanquish Rusev at WrestleMania 31.

There was a nostalgic feel to the bout, an American patriot standing up for his country against an incoming foreign menace. Rightly or wrongly, that's how the match was portrayed in the lead up to 'Mania.

How much things can change in just 12 short months.

Rusev is now nowhere near the WrestleMania card (as things stand), nevermind defending a title on the pay-per-view. Meanwhile, John Cena is on the injury list and has confirmed that he will miss the biggest show of the year for the first time in ages.

Incredibly, this will be the first WrestleMania card without a Cena match since 2003's 'Mania XIX. It's been quite the run for WWE's poster boy, but he's been long overdue a break from the show. Recent bouts against the likes of Bray Wyatt and even Rusev have felt fairly tame, at least compared to the Cena usual.

If nothing else, 'Mania 32 will benefit from skipping that old familiar John Cena victory on the big stage.
