10 Reasons WWE Are In A Battle With Their Own Fans
10. Fans Are A Minority
One look at Twitter or a wrestling message board and itd be easy to think that wrestling fans are a united front who for the most part all want the same thing. The term Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) gets bandied around a lot and there are stars known to be Internet Darlings like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose. The truth however, is that everyone is on the internet nowadays, so everyone is a member of the Internet Wrestling Community which means no matter what WWE do, theyre going to anger someone. The little kid who votes for John Cena in WWE App polls, or the weird guy that comments on Paiges Instagram is just as much as a member of the IWC as the guy posting his fantasy WrestleMania card on Reddit. The fans that consider themselves at war with WWE often fail to realise how broad WWEs audience is, and that as awesome as it would be to see Daniel Bryan win every championship simultaneously, John Cena sells the most merch and isnt going anywhere. WWE cant be all things to all people all the time, and some fans have a hard time grasping that.
