10 Reasons WWE Are In A Battle With Their Own Fans

10. Fans Are A Minority

One look at Twitter or a wrestling message board and it€™d be easy to think that wrestling fans are a united front who for the most part all want the same thing. The term Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) gets bandied around a lot and there are stars known to be €œInternet Darlings€ like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose. The truth however, is that everyone is on the internet nowadays, so everyone is a member of the Internet Wrestling Community which means no matter what WWE do, they€™re going to anger someone. The little kid who votes for John Cena in WWE App polls, or the weird guy that comments on Paige€™s Instagram is just as much as a member of the IWC as the guy posting his fantasy WrestleMania card on Reddit. The fans that consider themselves at war with WWE often fail to realise how broad WWE€™s audience is, and that as awesome as it would be to see Daniel Bryan win every championship simultaneously, John Cena sells the most merch and isn€™t going anywhere. WWE can€™t be all things to all people all the time, and some fans have a hard time grasping that.
