It's been nearly six years since Wade Barrett debuted on WWE TV, and he's done a lot in that time. Not only has he won five Intercontinental Titles and the King of the Ring tournament, but he's led stables, challenged for the WWE Championship, and taken on some of the biggest names in the company. Just about the only thing Barrett hasn't done during his tenure is work as a babyface. That may seem to be an odd thing to point out - after all, Barrett's promo work (complete with better-than-you accent) and ring style (aggressive to the point of bullying) seem tailor-made for a heel competitor. While that is true, Barrett is talented enough that he could conceivably do just as well as a face. Nobody will know until he tries it. This isn't to assert that a babyface run for Barrett could be the answer to the company's woes - it's simply proof that WWE hasn't explored everything that they can do with "Bad News," and they'd be fools to let him slip through their fingers.
